I took a break from blogging yesterday to enjoy lots of fun in the sun with the family and some really good food. The weather has been spectacular! Here are a few photos to show you our day.
The water was super calm yesterday. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it so calm in the Atlantic.
Breakfast was a big bowl of oatmeal with banana, peanut butter and syrup to get me through the morning. Brooke and I split a huge bowl and the pups came running for bites.
The boys enjoyed hanging out on one of the many decks.
Andy made a spectacular dinner of seafood alfredo and peas with a slice of warm bread. It was SO good.
A family tradition is to head out with flashlights when the sun goes down and hunt “ghost crabs”. The boys had a blast!
The stars were beautiful. Logan started to sing “Twinkle Twinkle” and Sam wanted to “head north”. Ha!
Sam woke up in the middle of the night talking about big crabs and only liking the baby ones. Ha! We’re about to enjoy another beautiful day in the Outer Banks…walking on the beach, watching Sam swim in the cold pool, the hot tub, shopping, food, food, and more food! Stay tuned!!!
